Emergencies Out of Hours

We participate in a county wide
co-operative and calls are taken by an experienced nurse
based in Worcester. You may be given advice over the
telephone or asked to attend to see the duty doctor. The
doctor may call you before coming out to visit to see if
there is another way to help with your problem. A home visit
will be arranged if necessary. Patients are encouraged to
attend the call centres if possible, thus saving valuable
time and usually enabling you to be seen more quickly.
Patients with injuries will continue to go, as before, to
casualty (A & E) at
Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Charles Hastings Way,
Worcester - where accident and emergency trained staff are
available.
